OK next question can xenon headlights from Germany be used in the uk or are they right hand drive and cant be changed?

if they have a tab on the back to change direction on them then yes

I think the tabs on them only flat beam the lights which is ok for short visits. However if you intend to purchase a set of LHD lights and flat beam them i'm not sure they will pass an MOT.

I know to go the other way (I used to live in Germany) they originally allowed flat beams but then said you could only have it for a max of 3 months. After that you had to buy LHD lights.
