Can you get one? I've never seen one , I'm thinking about what I want next , and I think I'd rather have an ED30 or Pirelli over a newer but standard Mk6 GTI.
-
The Pirelli only came in graphite blue, reflex silver, diamond black pearl and yellow, although yellow wasn't available here! :happy2:

ONly available in reflex silver, diamond black and blue graphite
ED30 available in candy white, they look great (and its the best colour) altho I would say that as I own one :happy2:.

Cheers people , no wonder I havent seen one! I have seen a pic of a Yellow one , VWs Yellows are too custardy for me , I like bright shiny Yellows like SEAT use. I would love a White Ed30 , they seem to be very scarce , although not as scarce as a White R32!

Yes but we all know that FAT chicks should not wear white dresses tho! :signLOL:
ED30 in white very few around your right, never seen 1 in the last 6 months since i got mine!

Annoyingly , theres one I see regularly in my home town (Berwick upon Tweed) and its owned by a woman of advanced years...I think she needs to trade it in for a new up! asap so i can buy it! :innocent:

What don't you like about the MK6?

Nothing , apart from the fact that I cant afford an R or Ed35! Id rather have the best version of any car that I'm interested in so thats why I'd rather have an Ed30 over my current GTI , and why I'd rather hang on until I could afford an R or Ed35 if I was to go Mk6 - however I dont want to wait that long for my next car!
-
I love my ED30 but my next car will be a Golf R (call the ED30 a stop gap if you like!) as soon as prices get sensible

My sentiments exactly :) The Golf R will hopefully be in range in about a year or so but going to love my ed30 until then!

Pirelli was available in yellow. The one my local dealer had in their showroom was that colour.
-
Yellow was not a UK colour. Must have been an import.
-
In right hand drive at a main dealer????
-
No Yellow was definitely not available in the UK.........
Been wrapped maybe?

I've seen a few pale yellow ones too, presumably imports.

Yes there was a link put up to one recently that was an Australian or New Zealand Import.

Well I'm at a loss as to why a dealer would be selling a car that wasn't available?
The Clio R27 wasn't available in white, but Renault still made one for someone who asked nicely. Maybe VW UK are as accommodating for their customers?

if seen a yellow one in oxford with black wheels a bit 'big fat gypsy wedding' for may tastes :scared:
greeners no shouting at the screen :happy2:
