You'd be suprised at how many phone calls I get per day from customers informing me they have received these emails and followed they're instructions accordingly and are just double checking everything is ok :stupid: :stupid:

If you were to fall for the appalling spelling and choice of wording, then you deserve to have your details stolen   :fighting:

ok, maybe a bit harsh but everyone should know about these by now, I get about 7 a day in my junk folder!

Yup, I get about 4 or 5 of these a day from various banking organisations best thing yet it they have not actually managed to send one who I even bank with yet!, along with the various spams from train4trade, I just laugh at them and add them to blocked list.

Yup, very scary.

They managed to take £800 from the missus bank account, and £30 top up o2 yet shes with Vodafone contract.

The following morning, i got a text to say my bank has been setup with a transaction (well i was asleep so i didnt do it) which then i see £1000 taken out.

Halifax was very good and dealt with it quickly, until it happened again 2 weeks from then, £800 was transferred over!

All i can think of was the laptop was hacked / viruses.

I think the banks should send out phishing emails that take you to a website that tells you not to believe emails.
