Hi peeps my car is like most my daily work car so I need 2 wash it pretty much every week just wondered what people used week in week out I do the proper wax job every few month but most week I use turtle wax wash n wax just spray while drying seems 2 work for me but if any one knows better , I'm all ears!!
Cheers andy

I'd forget the Turtle Wax and treat your car to a twice yearly application of a good wax like Collinite 476s.
-
I keep hearing that name might have a look , I dopolish and get the megs classic gold out twice a year but the wash wax does bring up the rubbers and black trims nice 2 and thought it can't do any harm pretty cheep and quick while drying
-
Most sealants will last 4-6 months. Most waxes will last 1-3 months. You don't have to top up every week but maybe every 4-6 weeks depending on beading and sheeting properties.
Quick detailer can be used after drying for a quick buff up.

Speak to some of the online sellers and get yourself a few items as the guys say - decent shampoo, clay bar, polish and a wax.
Not as dear as it sounds and will last you a long time as Stealth suggests.
I use Rubbish Boys - contact Ben there

It's finish is second to none....

it's certainly my favourite wax but after trying around 30, i'd say for ease of application, finish and price, the best wax/sealant overall is Meguires NXT 2 tech wax. Not the most durable but can be applied in the sun, leaves no dust or residue, wipes off with ease and as it has paint cleansers, glaze and sealant in it, it does a nice job of removing hazing and hologramming while leaving a nice wet shine :happy2:

The last wax i bought was double that price
Although the size of the pot it will probably last me 10-15 years
It was a bit of an impulse buy after it was used on my car when it was professionally detailed. As i now do it all myself i wanted something a little bit special for the car and i liked the results it gave.
However for really good cheaper waxes i used to use (and still do) FK1000p and FK 2685 Pink Wax. they work very well together and give a really nice deep wet shine.
You can get the two of them for about £40 and use the FK1000p as the Sealant and then the Pink wax over the top. The FK1000p can also be used to seal alloy wheels as it is a high temp wax. :happy2:

clearly you need to be educated about waxes. Have a look at this: clicky (http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/zymol-wax/zymol-vintage-glaze/prod_999.html)

Having tried what seems like hundreds of different sealants and waxes I always come back to Zaino Z8, it is the best for finish, ease of application and durability. Pinnacle gives an awesome finish on dark colours but it is less durable than a chocolate teapot in a heatwave.

The title was frequest use wax, so it ticks that box

I took frequent to mean that the car was washed frequently so what was best. Surely you want something that gives a great finish and has the longest time between applcations. I would put Pinnacle as a Show wax definitely not an everyday wax.

just used Poorboys Ex sealant on the FRS for the 1st time and it really does some great, it left the car that slippy i couldnt get the car cover back on.
worth a try imo for the price and is as easy to use as AG resin polish, the only thing it has to do now is last :happy2:

I've been lookin at poor boys Black hole glaze wondering if topping that off with jetseal 109 would doo the buisness
