Title: NQSBBK and BBS lm reps
Post by: Dan648v on March 28, 2012, 02:45:29 pm

Basically I've got an edition 30 running the NQSBBK up front on 312mm discs, there behind a standard ed30 pescara using a 5mm spacer.

But I've always wanted bbs lm style wheels on my golf  and have found some in the following sizes:

8x18 et45 fronts
9x18 et45 backs

The standard pescara is 7.5x18 et51 I believe?

Does anyone think the new wheels will fit? Or can anyone help in general?  :popcornsoda:

i've got an NQS fitted with BBS VZs. specs are:

18x8J ET44 (i.e. sit 1mm further out than your fronts)

no clearance issues whatsoever

its not just about offset and width fellas, spoke design and shape can play a big part :happy2:, TBH the only way to be really sure is try them IMO

true, but i'd imagine with something flat faced like an LM you should be fine

if it was a convex rim then there might be issues

Rim design and spoke shape is what I'm worried about, I've asked the company to see pics of the back of the wheel to see how deep they are and they say there too busy (awesome response!!) then said I'd drive to them (100 miles) and tape it up and try one on, if they fit I'd take them away. I got told they won't fit and to not bother wasting my time  :signLOL: I don't think they want my money!!

Now looking at a company called BM Autosport, they have some 8.5" fronts et45 and 9.5 et43 rears that looks god damn sexy!!

I'll try get some pics tomora
