Title: Diverter valve
Post by: grantvw24 on March 28, 2012, 04:18:51 pm
well guys found my 07 gti was not pulling like it should so replaced the diverter valve. what a difference it made pulling in every gear totally different car, and fuel econemy was a lot better.
Got back in car today and does not seem to be pulling the same.  Kind of takes the fun out of the car when it dosen't drive like u know it should. Any Guys got any ideas why it could be a hit or a miss?

May be check that a fitting has not come loose when you replaced the DV.  You could always see which member with a copy of VCDS is near you and ask them to scan for fault codes and log a couple of runs, to check ofr other faults

Was looking through the big write up there on the DV and it mentioned clearing codes with Vag. Guess i missed that bit.  Anybody in scotland,  east coast by any chance?
