Hey people, my mk5 gt tdi didnt come with any armrest and after driving my mates mk4 for a bit i need to have one in my mk5 lol
Just wondering would any armrest from fleabay fit??
Also anyone know how much roughly it is from dealer?

You can retrofit a mk5 armrest in to yours, its easy to do, ive got a full on how to guide if your interested email me and i will send it as a PDF to you :star:

You can retro the mk6 too, or scirocco as they are the sane. Slight variation on cloth colour but it enough to bother. I have a mk6 in mine.
As Phil says really easy to fit, no more than 20 mins.
Oh, and buy genuine, wouldn't touch those armster ones on eBay. Seen a few genuine ones listed over last couple of days too :happy2:

the main outer body of the armrest is 1K0 863 323 B
so if it has a 1K0 or 1K6 part number on it then you can be fairly sure its genuine

On top of what Phil says you can tell just by looking at them, they have a very destinctive shape
These are all genuine. You will not that lots tend to be missing the rear cupholder. All the parts for that come to nearly £50 at the dealers (or do what I did and get a storage tray insert for £17 instead) but just so you know when comparing which to buy :) You can get brand new ones for £175 as you will see

The proper mk5 version is about £20 more than that one in the first link.
