JBS are developing a K04 cast manifold....
http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/t/269874.aspx
They have already developed a K03 cast manifold and ....so far...have had good results from testing...

I have a few questions for any engine guru's out there.
If the K04 manifold could produce similar results as the K03 version (50% flow increase), how much benefit would you possibly see in terms of power output?
Could it simply be that a K04 manifold strapped to a modified ED30 would simply mean that it wouldn't suffer from heatsoak as much?
Any other benefits?

iirc that manifold is for the mk4
-
yup, they even posted a pic comparing it to the normal manifold with "BAM" on it, which was the 1.8T 225ps motor.
No point for our engines, as the manifold / turbo are integrated / 1 piece. The old style was seperate so designing a more efficient exhaust manifold for the turbo was beneficial.

Well, you learn something new every day. 8)

Looks like they have moved away from the equal length one then... not that it fit so I'll keep stum

is there any part of your car that isnt touched RR?

is there any part of your car that isnt touched RR?
RR needed a replacement turbo due to a slight crack losing him precious boost and bhp.
