Title: Audi RS3 Sportback
Post by: Moschops on April 04, 2012, 02:04:41 pm
Some pictures as requested. I won't go into detail on the detailing as Jay @ Miglior is going to to do a full post and I'll link it in here.

Start with collection at Carlisle Audi. Some bloke kept getting in on the act...as if by magic the car salesman appears...  Earlyish start for me from the Midlands, nice steady run up the M6 to Carlisle.

After finalising the paperwork and handover, it was off back down the the M6 to Accrington the home of Migilor Detailing, had discussed with Jay on getting a full new car preparation done on the RS3, having used him previously on the other Audis, A6, S3 Black Edition and Mrs Choppers latest aquesistion an A1 Black Edition. So I had no problems in letting him loose on the RS3.

Arrival at Miglior.

Awesome!

Still think they could have put on better exhaust tip - not the normal twin but I suppose that leaves room for aftermarket options!

Really like the colour, spotted the photo on Jay's facebook page and I even showed the Mrs I was that impressed!

Looks amazing Wayne. Not knowing too much about the Audi range, what does this one have that the S3 doesn't? And what did you spec with it?

Really am jealous of the cars you get your hands on  :happy2:

Loving the RS3 and as stated before, sprint blue is the bestest colour possible to get it in. Looks like a winner to me.

Now are you gonna quote many many newbie's and say, "I've spend rakes of money buying it so it's just gonna remain standard..."

I'm the same. Massive appreciation of the engine (and the interior is lovely) but that's about it.

Can you order it with gloss black adornments, instead of the silver valance etc?

Yes you can, but on the front only the grill and surround is black everything is blody colour. On the rear end, all the rear diffuser gloss black and black chrome tail pipes.  :happy2:

Very nice Moschops,

I seem to have been waiting for years for the RS3, when it finally came, only 4 door, and I need 2 door, maybe the new A3 range will have one.

I work right next door to Carlisle Audi, in fact my office window looks onto their showroom. If I'd knew this was there I'd have been out for a quick sneak peek at it :sad1:

Very, very nice car btw :happy2:

How come you ended up getting it from up this way?!
