I've nearly worn my copy out, one of my all time favourite films :happy2:
Love him or hate him i'm a huge Guy Martin fan and an even bigger TT fan so it ticks all the boxes for me, my missus loves it too

Should try watching it live on the iom! The speed and noise not to mention the sensation of the air being pushed out of the way as they blast past 3' away is almost scary! :surprised:
I went during practise week last year and managed a few laps round in the Golf, awesome! :driver:
-
I bought this the other day. Awesome stuff!

I must admit, I'm not a fan of films at all. I normally get bored and fall asleep so never watch any
As soon as this came out in the cinema, I went to Leeds to see it (and my girlfriend whilst I was there ) as my local wasn't showing it
It's an absolutely awesome film, the only one I can watch over and over again! True legends race on the TT circuit and Ian Hutchinson certainly cemented his name up there with the greats. And I'm surprised Connor Cummins is still alive, never mind racing the TT again the year after :surprised:
Has anyone seen the Moto GP version called Fastest?! Same kind of thing but not quite as good I didn't think, still a good watch mind
Ooo, all the talk about bikes has got me well excited for this weekend, start of the BSB and the Moto GP seasons
It'll be a day on the sofa on Sunday for me :drinking:

This film is brill, watched it twice when I first got it , so much passion for the TT is shown by these guys , we think we drive fast with our GTI's but these guys really show the meaning of epic pace on the roads
Very interesting ending..... Well worth buying it http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/19932014/TT-Closer-To-The-Edge/Product.html

I can only echo the above comments. Awesome fillum and Guy Martin is a top bloke. :happy2:
-

-
Absolute brilliant watch!!
-
Brilliant film and can only echo what others have said, Guy Martin seems to be a top fella, they all do. Never been but keep meaning to go (say that ever year)
:happy2:

Do it mate, nothing like it anywhere in the world :happy2:

I agree, apparently. I was 3 when my parents took me to the Isle of Man mainly because one of their friends, Jeff Gawley, was racing his sidecar.
I believe I howled for the whole week. :ashamed:

You might have been trying to make motorbike noises :signLOL:
-
I think I might've been a bit too young for that.
-
Brilliant film. :notworthy:
I don't know why anyone wouldn't like Guy Martin. He says what he sees and if he's pissed off your gonna know about it. There are too many emotionless people on this planet, I respect anyone who has the balls to show theres. :congrats:
-
Watched this last night. Even the wife thought it was a good film :happy2:
-
Amazing film how eccentric is guy Martin. Makes me want to go to the TT

Amazing how being pregnant affects your brain
-
I thought it was AM that was pregnant?
-
Bought this and took it to me mum's house to watch as she has a 3D TV. I got the impression that she had the impression that I'd bought it for her when I showed her it and so had to leave it there!
"I got this film"
"Ooh, thanks very much"
Will have to buy myself another copy one day...

:signLOL: Did she like the film though? If so, big respect to your mum :notworthy: (I know what my mum would have said!)
-
She did like it, yes. To be fair, I have bought her a few 3D Blu-rays in the past, so the confusion was acceptable to me. It's under a tenner now, so I don't have to cough up much more dosh!

Can't believe I've only just got round to watching this!!!!
Absolutely Amazingly Awesome Docu-movie :congrats: :congrats: :congrats:
Martins 170mph Fireball :surprised:
Great Lad. How the hell he is still alive I don't know!
Same with Cummings :scared: flew straight over the edge of veranda and smacked the wall!
(so many summersaults)
Lucky, lucky guys.
Yorkshire lad Hutchy was amazing :notworthy:
Shortly after winning 5/5 at the TT Hutchy gets run over during a circuit race.
They was going to amputate his leg, but managed to fix the break with an ilizarov frame! :congrats:
(exactly same injury as I had)
Felt a bit sorry for Mcguinness, but it's very very competitve at the top
What a great watch! HIGHLY Recommended!!! :happy2:
-
Bought myself a copy of this so I can watch it at home now!

I've nearly wore my copy out, plus buying it cost me a fortune as i treated myself to a 3D TV and Bluray player to make the most of it :signLOL:

Good in 3D innit!
