Title: Standard gti Maf reading ?
Post by: mk5craig on April 05, 2012, 10:43:34 pm
Hi, what reading should the maf peak at on a standard gti (200bhp) as i done a short run in 4th gear from 2000rpm then wot and let off at about 5000rpm and the peak maf reading was at 4720rpm and was 126g/s
i think this is low as if you divide it by 0.8 its only 157.5bhp
is it just that i didnt continue the log run or is my Maf gone
thanks Craig
Also my diverter valve and pcv valve are faulty (dont know if that would make a difference)

.
I dunno the answer to your question but would strongly advise first fixing your DV and PCV problems and then you would know they weren't adversely effecting anything. Curing issues is often a process of elimination, so eliminate your known issues first, otherwise you are juggling too many balls in the air.
