:signLOL: I am from Saddleworth myself (born n Bred) and all the locals know there are certain roads you dont attempt when its been snowing and especcially if its been snowing with some high winds.

I cant be sure but that looks like the Road between Diggle and Uppermill that goes over the tops, if it is that road they should know better, up there is the land of the Panda 4x4 only in winter  :signLOL:

Ah right, I think I see it now, your heading towards Lydgate a couple of hundred yards down from the crossroads (Star Inn end) should have got that but with all the snow its hard to place it, should have known tho as my mates mum lives about 500yds from there  :happy2:

My mate told me he could not get out of saddleworth on wednesday morning due to snow (Lives in Dobcross and has to climb a hill to get out  :happy2:), he failed so went back home to his missus

Thats the place...

If id managed to get to the other end id have had to come back anyway apparently a treee had fell down blocking the turn to lydgate n down into greenfield. There was noooo way i was walking down n then walking back up later!

Its a bad road foo accidents as it is, since it was changed from 60 to 40 there seem to be a lot less accidents, cant remeber of they finally sorted that off camber left hander just after second straight, but used to be a bit twitchy through there.

Where you work in greenfield, used ot work in greenfield myself (ind est off Kinders Lane)

Theres a huge pothole on the right hander on to the 2nd straight. You have to cut the corner to miss it n then the road is like a rollercoaster jus before you hit that left hander. Its a crap road but saves me drivin through clarksfield n lees which is a ballache.

Ohhh yeah i know kinders lane. Im the manager at lifestyle fitness mate.
