Title: Eibach pro kit(or any lowering springs) and front camber problem's?
Post by: sanj on April 07, 2012, 05:09:51 pm
Is it true that a car lowered will have problem's with front camber when it come's to laser tracking?I'm only asking as the place I took it to get it done said something was'nt right on the driver's side front, said something might have been bent!I had the antilift kit and eibach pro kit fitted this afternoon, could it just be it need setting up by a proper pro? :happy2:

I had springs fitted recently and had a full wheel alignment from a reputable tuner. This was necessary they said (plus the clutch was fitted too so I'm pretty sure the front sub frame was loosened) but the set up is great and I have had no problems at all.

I'd say always get a professional outfit to do the work rather than a backstreet abortionist garage who may have had very little experience in properly 'setting up cars' as opposed to just 'changing bits' over.

Thank's Andy, the car is booked in at Allcar in Huddersfield next Saturday for a full wheel alignment, they did mention that the subframe may have to be dropped in order for them to correctly set it up,will let you know what the outcome is!

Mines lowered on H&R springs. When it went in for an alignment setup the front camber was in tolerance
