Title: Temperature sensor faulty?

I have noticed that my temp reading hardly ever goes above 70, only if i am stuck in traffic for a bit does it go to 90, even on long jurneys it hardly gets to 90. Now i think my temp sensor may be fubared. I take it that it should get to 90 quickly
