Post by: chopper on April 11, 2012, 11:51:16 am

Depends on what rolling road you go to tbh. I managed 341 bhp and 370lb/ft at Pdtuning dyno dynamics

im just trying to get a handle on what to expect... figures of 350bhp have been mentioned for Revo... guys with superchips stage 3 seem to be getting slightly less than Revo stage 2+.

you could prob get 365-370, maybe more with water meth? but are those figures accurate? can you really get more than 100bhp out of the KO4 by tweaking the map and adding a hpfp, intercooler, tbe and cai?  guess the tuners on here are best placed to comment eg Dave, Alex, Nick

Well heres some proof of that for you

My car last year, graph show superchips stage 3 vs revo stage 2+. same car, same mods, same dyno.

worth bearing in mind, I've yet to find out what the difference is with their stage 2 dsg map, apart from sportier gear shifts in 'S' and 'D', and its an extra £100. They say you need it for stage 2+ /3 cars, but still cant find out why

they quoted me 199+vat for dsg stage 2. thats a saving of 100quid if i get revo stage 2+ ecu remap. bear in mind ecu remap is 599+vat!

Both maps incoperate the same increased torque level and full manual control when in M mode. Additionally the stage 2 can be mapped to one of a few launch rpms plus the shifting points in D mode are "optimised".

I would like a sportier D mode for WOT. the standard D mode is a bit soft. as for launch control , I wouldnt be using that too often.
