was thinking about purchasing one of these intakes for my stage 1 golf gti mk5 k03.I no alot of the yanks rave on about them over there, and on awesomes web site they say the intake comes with the correct size maf housing so to not mess up fuel trims.just wondered if anybody has one of these intakes, or any info good or bad so that i can make up my mind on buying one.thanks. would also get the evoms heat shield from regal if i did decide to purchase.

I run one on my stage 2 ed30 and have no problems with it, I like the sound it gives off and the fit and build quality was good!
-
didnt think they would have any problems cause suppose as long as u get the correct maf housing they all do the same thing and function in the same way.basically it just a filter on the end of stick.

In a sense yes, I may swap the filter element for a k&n one eventually but it was enough to help make 305bhp @the wheels on my ed30! Can't remember my inlet temps but i will be running a cold air feed to the filter cause it's close to the radiator and abit out in the open! But for the price I'm not complaining

Are you running a stage 2+ map as that whp as that translates to around 350 bhp @ flywheel...
-
It's a stage 2 revo map and was dyno'd on a hub dyno in Doncaster at RDT. Could probably benefit from going stage 2+ or just adding a hpfp as I have a dip in the mid range where the standard pump is struggling.

Im pretty sure they are K&n filters on them anyway , impretty sure mine is on my P flow
and it contains the same dye as used in k&n filters.

This is the K&N filter which fits the neuspeed P-Flow, it's nearly identical to the one that comes with the Kit and is the same one that K&N use for their TFSI intake.
