anyone have any pics of this done to pescaras? my standard alloys are looking a bit tired and in need of a refurb... im keen for gloss black but not sure about red lip to match red calipers. the car is diamond black.
-
Probably not much help to you mate, but I had my Pescys done in Satin Black!
I then tried some of the stick on Wheel Stripes in Silver, so that I could see If I liked em or not. Its definitely recommended. If you don't like em just pull em off :happy2:

Has been done. Had you had a look in the wheel thread?
-
i know ive seen them, but i cant seem to find them on wheel thread, though i was sure they were there somewhere.
Monte - where did you get Wheel Stripes from?
Satin black looks pretty sweet.
-
I got em on ebay mate
You get 4 per wheel so they are quite easy to fit. Then If you definitely want to make it more permanent you could get proper striping done (but TBH the stick on stripes aren't too bad) :happy2:
I think if I had the choice again I would go for Gloss black though. There is a lot more definition and with the reflection they stand out a lot more.
(and I reckon I would leave the pinstripe off on gloss)
-
ive had a quick look at wheel stripes video on youtube. how sticky is the stripe? would image if wheel rubbed even slightly on anything the stripe might come off
-
Well I must admit, I had problems sticking 1 of them, but it was my own fault. I didn't clean the wheel as good as I should. :ashamed:
There was just one area about an inch long where it must have had something greasy on???
Anyway I managed to peel it back, clean it properly, and then gently warm it up with the hairdryer. It stuck back down perfectly and I never had any trouble since. :happy2:
