Title: Is K03 discharge pipe same as K04?

Is the left hand side dicharge pipe the same diameter on the K03 as the K04? As in the end that accepts the left hand intercooler hose?

Apart from the silicone hose that attaches to the turbo the rest of the pipe is the same.

The lugs which hold the rubber intercooler pipe in place will be wrong.

Basically I bought an intercooler kit for a mk5 Gti thinking it would fit but the connector on the drivers side is a smaller diameter insert than the discharge pipe  I thought then with mine being edition 30 the K04 discharge pipe must be bigger

Connector into intercooler are same on k03 + k04 as they share the same standard cooler anyway.

Ahh. In that case I'd probably sell it on unless you can fabricate some custom pipe work, but then you don't want to reduce the air flow with smaller connection.
Edit: if it's the kit I think it is with the removable end, you may be able to get a connector seperatly?

I don't want to sell it on and cause someone else the same problem so I am looking into it with the supplier to see if they have sent me a wrong part :) also I agree with reducing the air flow don't want to step it down to a small diameter pipe
