A new UK-based event, taking place on the roads of Cheshire and North Staffordshire, will see Group B legends, such as the Peugeot 205 T16, Audi S1 quattro, Metro 6R4 and Ford RS200 take part in a competitive rally - an extremely rare occurrence since the hugely expensive and powerful rally cars were banned for being 'too fast to race' in 1986.

Taking place over the weekend of 25-26 August, the rally has so far attracted over 60 entries - so expect an amazing line-up of retro-rally cars. Sponsored by Michelin, the rally is currently the UK's only multi-venue rally for Group B cars.

have been definitely waiting to see a race like this, a sure way to keep some adrenaline rush, atleast for me.haha have been a big fan of any racing cars and this is definitely a must watch i do hope that i will get to catch it, might take sometime off from work just to be able to see this very rare event. Would love to see the show offf of those very famous cars personally.
