Title: Chromed wheels.....

Hi all, I have got hold of some 19" 3 piece split rims, they are 5 spoke, the only problem is that the spokes are chromed (although it is bubbling slightly and some has peeled off) I want to get them powder coated or painted, my question is how easy is it to remove the chrome?  Or what other options do I have?

Get them bead blasted and then either painted or powder coated, those beads will remove chrome no worries!
