So I have stripped all my dash out and sent it off for flocking.

It only cost me £122 in the end. Which isn't bad when you see how many piece I have sent off.

So I have got my dash back, really happy with the quality and would recommend them to anyone. It took a week to transform them and receive them.

Ill be in Afghan but you can drop them at mine & send you some €.  You got a Sparkasse account?  :drinking:

Be good to get a dyno run before you start tuning to check its all healthy and see what your starting with.  All being healthy you should have 240hp

A good BWJ motor maybe 250 standard.  Book is 247, depends which dyno you use I suppose but try and stick to the same dyno when you upgrade bits to get a better idea of what improvements youve made.

Should be back by Sept mate  :happy2:  There are a few Dyno Dynamics rollers near me, or APR have their own dyno for WHEN you get it remapped  :innocent:

So last night there was nothing on at work, so drove the car into the hanger.
And decided to take the rear valance off my car.

Removed my number plate
(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Fbuzz1231%2Fcupra_pt2%2FIMG_0491.jpg&hash=435e07f25feedbd74a5abb9af8edc5fd42b2cea1)

Then unscrewed the torx at the bottom and push my parking sensors out

I thought my modding would have been on pause while working away in Bavaria. But I got bored and one thing led to another. I decided to take my front grills out so I can wrap my lip matt black and also fix my grills and respary them as they need refreshing.

(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Fz332%2Fbuzz1231%2FIMG_0552.jpg&hash=50dc6033dcb2e8e130341711c541b6b4799ff0c5)

This is the crack in it :/

So yesterday I got my car back as I have just got the cupra r exhuast back box fitted to my car.

(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Fbuzz1231%2Fcupra_pt2%2FIMG_0617.jpg&hash=af89f63990e1f1acdfa57adecbe1b846e4f2ee3f)

And been busy today as I want my car to be black everything is getting wrapped matt black more a less. My car isn't clean but here what I go up to:

Gutted all the bits off the front of my car
(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Fbuzz1231%2Fcupra_pt2%2FIMG_0619.jpg&hash=8a15be9af131cce560613ec92e1bf9aafd0d3419)
(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Fbuzz1231%2Fcupra_pt2%2FIMG_0621.jpg&hash=4b911c66ab43157ba80f2d662398a6f777accab3)

First I have screw marks on the front so I filled them in
(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Fbuzz1231%2Fcupra_pt2%2FIMG_0615.jpg&hash=27829fc870088587aa808dabcb30db86888e4c23)
(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Fbuzz1231%2Fcupra_pt2%2FIMG_0614-1.jpg&hash=1ceff486a58ff4912561e803ee66053bdfea2486)
(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Fbuzz1231%2Fcupra_pt2%2FIMG_0616.jpg&hash=c9290b94be01dbe60fba835c33edb4c0a2e49d19)

Theres no turning back now haha.
So I grabbed a big sheet of matt black and started patching it up
(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Fbuzz1231%2Fcupra_pt2%2FIMG_0627.jpg&hash=e1b4201e9f405a605acc36adc6fe9d168cec1946)

Nice and smooth :)

Also got the s badge off, Its a pain for such a small thing
(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Fbuzz1231%2Fcupra_pt2%2FIMG_0622.jpg&hash=df998d8c711303da2946420a30f8487205e62bc8)
I kinda liked this look without a badge in there at all just the outline

But decided to go matt black with the s badge
So all together
(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Fbuzz1231%2Fcupra_pt2%2FIMG_0626.jpg&hash=d0902c33ca4a13ff800020136084967efd058866)

After filling the holes I started on my engine cover
(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Fbuzz1231%2Fcupra_pt2%2FIMG_0630.jpg&hash=d10b4968767574882aa3227c88907d75689ded88)
Havent took and pictures of it filled but its just a smooth cover now

Still got a lot to do but hoping I will get chance being in Bavaria only working a few hours a day with awesome weather.

Let me know what you guys think

Looks very tasty  :happy2:

Are the Supercopa and Cupra R rear bumpers the same fella? I notice the Supercopa (both TFSI and TDI) have that centralised dual pipe layout which I think looks great.

I am not too sure. I think the supercopa in wider rear bumper. mines just standard cupra/fr bumper. Its and easy swap though haha

Subscribed to see your new engine cover candy
