Title: vinyl wrapping
Post by: nathangallo on April 16, 2012, 10:52:21 pm
Recently i tried repairing the crack on my engine cover insert, but was cracked to much and after spraying it you can still see it and is really annoying me.

So was thinking of maybe wrapping it and if anyone has done it maybe give me some advice on trying to get the letter to stand out also, if it isnt possible then i will just cover it over. as i am getting annoyed with the crack

thanks

wouldn't the heat just make it bubble?

Have you tried prepping and curing the crack? Drill a hole at the end of it to stop it spreading, fuse together with soldering iron or similar (both sides), body filler then sand. Should be completely unnoticeable with a bit of work. :happy2:
