Title: Goodbye to everyone
Post by: deano65 on April 17, 2012, 07:29:49 am
Hello everyone

well bit the bullet yesterday and traded my GTI in for a BMW 320d i just couldn't justify or afford to use petrol anymore, and the difference in mileage was proved after travelling 128 miles back home from the garage..

Thanks to everyone.. :happy2:

Iv prob got 6months of lovely driving driving in the BM before you realise why you shouldnt buy 1...

Jus a few words.....

Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we've no place to go
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

Wife and I had BMWs until I bought the E30 and got snowed in a few times - last time there was less than 4 inches....   :scared:

Don't let me put you off though, TBH I loved my 320d coupe (snow issues aside).  Just prepare yourself for the "You need four new tyres sir, we can do a full set of Potenza runflats for £1000..."!

Nice car though and fuel economy is astonishing.  I drove mine in a 'spirited' fashion all the time and never got less than 46mpg off a tank!  My wife used to get early 50's from it!  :happy2:
