Afternoon all! I've had My Ed30 now for just over 3 weeks and am so far loving it, apart from the knocking front suspension. The car is fitted with KW Clubsports with adjustable front mounts. I have replaced the drop links as one had quite a bit of play, but the noise is still there. It's silent on the motorway, but on normal roads it knocks and annoys the hell out of Me.
Has anyone got any ideas what may be the cause? Do the adjustable top mounts tend to wear or come loose?
Cheers in advance, Ash

I have a similar problem, but i belive its just the stiffness of myshocks, they are stiff, which are KW clubsports with Eibach spings...
Dunno if that helps but hope you find your problem...

Answer is here, cheap easy solution. Ordered my kit from VW this week ahead of getting my coilovers on hopefully this weekend: :happy2:

The noise on mine is over every bump in the road, just like the noise when a drop link is worn. I'll order the shim and bolt kit tomorrow anyway, worth a shot!
