Title: anyone wanting the rieger front

i know there have been quite a few threads over the last few days about the rieger front splitter and where to get them cheapest...

just spotted this while browsing ebay, could be a bargain for somebody  :happy2:

Noticing that the eBay seller refers to it as being tough ABS plastic and not "fibreglass rubbish", there is a definite advantage in a fibreglass front spoiler because it's easier to repair and, as my accident repair centre/bodyshop guy pointed out: If you have a stronger knock it is far less likely to cause more extensive damage by transferring impact forces elsewhere.

I've scraped mine a few times and it's been easy to repair.

I'm not knocking ABS plastics but just pointing out a difference. OSIR's latest version of mine is now ABS plastic.

I didn't check the postage costs on their website but I'm sure if they can do them at £189 posted with ebay costs they could give a little discount for a semi organised group buy.

GTIs are supposed to have loads of plastic - it's traditional  :happy2: Besides, these spoilers look identical to the ones used in the VW Cup so look mean and sporty. ETTO as they say!

cool cheers for that , the osir stuff it not that good from that i have seen . i had a rear apron by them and the fit was crap . never even bothered with it . i did have a carbon bonnet a few years ago , fit and finish was good but looked a bit chavvy
