For the last 3-6 months i have not really been feeling the love with my current employer, nothing massively wrong with them just that the salary doesn't reflect what was expected of me and a change of line manager didn't help either. After applying for god knows how many jobs (maybe 150+) i had an interview this afternoon and was offered the job shortly afterwards. The job is exactly what i am looking for and the salary is SIGNIFICANTLY more than what i am now to the point where i had to question it.
So tomorrow i have the rather pleasant task of handing in my notice. Which is awesome!!!!

Currently work for a large Automotive software company as a Project Manager but the pay sucks donkey. The position i was offered this afternoon is for a Project Coordinator with relatively small yet well established Microsoft business software reseller so slightly different to what i am used to but i am VERY much looking forward to it.

I handed in my notice this morning and my line manager wasn't even bothered i was leaving. Don't mind that much as we have never realyly clicked but i did expect something in the way of a counter offer. My workload is set to decrease by 70% especially as my main project has been taken off me. Looks like my internet useage is set to increase!

I thought you were off to Canada?

Still trying but it is proving difficult getting approval from the Canadian Labour Market opinion board which is required for the employment of non Canadian Nationals. :sad1:
