I recently had to replace the driver's door latch mechanism, which was a pain, but in the process found a rattle that had been bugging me for a while.
I had noticed a rattle in both doors (3dr) that wasn't obvious (as in I couldn't find the rattle) with the door card removed. When I changed the latch mechanism I noticed the external door pull didn't keep the release cable tensioned, so corrected this on the driver's door. I thought nothing of it, then when driving the car noticed the driver's door rattle had gone. I then tried the same on the passenger door, and again the rattle went.
It's the part being levered out in this picture:

How did you correct it? What did you need to do?
There's an annoying rattle that I suspect is coming from the front passenger door.

I have the same problem been bugging me for some time.
Can you go more in detail of how I can sort this please?

To correct the problem, remove the lock barrel (remove the black trim on the end of the door, then undo the lock barrel bolt), then un clip the door pull seen in the picture above and reattach it with tension. It's all very obvious when you see the mechanism in the flesh.
For more details on the process to remove the lock barrel / blank, see a how to on this forum regarding replacing the lock mechanism.
