I have my GT 04 with lots of stuff on it. Outside is very standard and in OK condition. Full service history to date one owner from new. 100k belts done and new clutch and dual mass to be done shortly. Has everything (internally)
I love it, but got it because of the MPG and spec.
I no longer do the mileage I used to........do you think I could get a part ex for a decent spec'd GTI for this? or are these two just two worlds appart?

Well from your sig at the bottom of your post its literally loaded.
Certainly worth it as a px with a private seller/dealer but would put as much of it back to standard as possible if going via a franchised VW dealership as they dont bump up the value for such add ons. (Iv tried!)
half decent GTIs come for £8k upwards with decent spec and reasonable miles. DSGs are more dear but personally I think they are worth the investment!
Your GTTDI would fetch at around £5-6k private but price a little higher for barter margin. Depends on which retrofits your throwing in with the car though!
