Sorry guys i have posted a lot on here about my poxy major service but tbh i just dont want to do it lol  :signLOL:
Rather buy rns-510 :sad1:
But anyways cant really ignore

I have just been told that i can get the service done labour free and my dads garage all i need to do is go get the parts but i want to get genuine,
Can i get these from another place i.e euro car parts or is it only VW direct,

should be able to get them from euro car parts

VAGOC members have a 25% discount code, so might be worthwhile signing up there

TPS sell VW parts, some dealers sell to public, if not your mates/dads garage can get them as a trader

Bosch, Valeo, Siemens, Pierburg to name a few

but could someone tell me what vw use for each part could you  :ashamed:

im doing it all

air filter
oil filter
pollen filter
fuel filter
oil
plugs
cambelt
water pump

oil wise you'd probs be better off waiting for a deal somewhere like Asda and buying some. i got 3x 4L bottles of the correct VW Approved Castrol Edge for £27.50 each a few months ago. when it came to service time i told my main dealer i'd be providing the oil for the service and they did it for £100 and i got an Audi stamp in my book for resale time and saved myself 10%

plugs i'd go aftermarket, something like NGK iridiums. can be gotten off eBay for half the price of OEM

i'd do the same for the air filter too tbh

rest of the stuff i can't help with

TPS sell the 507 oil in 5 lt cans for £24 inc vat, get everything from TPS best way, eurocar parts are the white box club (your need to sure what make will be inside)

i know that the oil filter is made by mann
the timing belt kit is made by dayco

well i have just priced the stuff up at euro car parts and it come to 160 odd minus the oil so i may just got for that  :confused:
