Hello folks. I'm after a new wax, and was wondering what peoples opinions are on the above me roomed waxes?
Thanks in advance for any replies :happy2:
-
Had a go of both of these waxes on my TR gti and for me its gotta be zymol glasur ,did a little test with a few waxes including these two and zymol glasur lasted longer than af desire and to me looked a much deeper shine and gloss, pound for pound im still to find a better wax than glasur.... but hey thats just me

Both are great really - I use them a lot.
I'd go Glasur on darker colours or red and Desire on lighter colours...
-
Haha good old Russ, now the poor guy will have to spend out on both :P
I'd go for Glasur but haven't honestly tried Desire so can't comment on that, I just know how good Glasur is!

Desire is really good but I want glasur next for my collection
-
Well I ordered Desire in the end. :popcornsoda:
So no more talk on how good glasur is please :signLOL:

What would be the advantage of one of these waxes over something far cheaper like Collinite 476s?
-
Personal preferences.
90% of the final effect is in the prep - washing/claying/polishing etc. The final 10% or so is from the LSP. Sometimes the product has better water-repelling properties, easier to apply/buff, duration of protection, etc.
Some swear by them. Others state the likes of Collies provides a similar effect for much less.
