When you installed your subs did you run the phono next to the power on the passenger side or run them down the middle or drivers side?Usually I run them separate to avoid interference but wondering if its a massive problem if they are run together.
How hard is it to get the cables nicely hidden under the trim?

i had the cables running together, but i got inteference so i ran the rca leads down one side the power leads down the drivers side and the speaker cables down the middle
-
cheers.were you running high level inputs or using the amp to drive front speakers?
-
am using a 4 way amp to run the car speakers & a class d mono block for the sub
-
ok cool ill try and separate them

sweet install. Not sure if I could afford to lose boot space though!
What speakers are you running up front?
-
if its room you need to focus on you can save your bootspace if you buy the right equipment, slim amps and slim subs can be positioned almost anywhere
everything depends on the sound you want to achieve with regards to what you put where and what gets amped

Got myself a 10" vibe active today to provide some poke for now. Got a vibe fastplug kit so can whip it out in a few secs when I need the space. Being active means its all together so easy to remove. Haven't heard it yet so cant comment on sound.
All that remains now is too get the bloody power lead through the bulkhead!

my battery's in the boot

I did curse R owners when trying to get the battery through the bulkhead!
All in now and sounding great, not got it too loud at the moment but it feels like it could be very loud if it wanted to! Sounds good so far (better than standard anyway!)Will have a play with crossovers etc later.
now where did I put my in for the kill cd!!

VIDEO PLEASE

Here are some crummy photos with a load of stuff in the boot for now! Will get a vid soon!Had a little play with in for the kill and its bone shaking!
Pretty impressed with the vibe so far a good warm rich bass.
I knew I couldn't be without a sub for long, even had them in my landys!
The only thing I dont like is the amp is on the top so the wires are visible, why on earth didnt they put it on the back?

Vid coming soon!

how have you anchored the box? or do you just corner really slowly now :chicken:
-
box stays where it is for now as its got rubber grips on the bottom and sticks fairly solid. but I dont like having something that heavy not strapped down so for safety it will be strapped down very soon!
