Post by: nathangallo on April 25, 2012, 08:40:14 pm
In the middle of looking at sport lines which are designed for a Leon. checked the parts numbers against the Gti ones and they don't correspond but buyer says they will fit is this true :)

Thanks :signLOL:

That is what i am worried about. It wouldnt really matter if it gives me a little bit more drop but if i put them on and its the same its a waste on wonga

Just seen on internet then new ones for only £15 more and they are for a golf so i think i'm going to go for that.

Can you recommend a site that does that cheap or is £125 about right

Tbh i've just had a nightmare with springs that i was told would fit, they did fit but put the car higher than standard. I would do plenty of research if you intend on buying them. Personally i would buy new from now on, which i have. You know what you are getting then.

To be honest, your springs shouldn't be as short as these at all. but its up to you, I am not gonna force you to buy them. Maybe play it safe but I think you should look at this site and see if anyone else has them. They were £160 odd new then had p and p on top :/

I have just posted a thread to DPM performance to see what they know, I bought them from eibach themselves off there website. i'll see if I can find anymore detail on them for you

right thanks mate, i would rather buy them off you as
1st id save some beer tokens
2nd id rather give you money over a company  :signLOL:

im in no major rush think the car is in the garage next week for its major service so anytime before then  :drinking:

So I just finished speaking with dpm performance. He says they will defiantly fit but the axle weights are different so it will sit lower on a golf so extra few mm than normal on the front. So whatever a vw golf with eibach is sitting at little bit lower at front than that.

Hope this helps mate
