I also know some guys running MX72 on TT-RS brakes and on Movit 4-pots. Amazing results
as well both on track and street.
:happy2:

You must have won the lottery!!!
Amazing pads and well worth the money. They will last 4 times longer than Pagid RS29's and not wear the disc out at all.
The pads for my R8 rears cost around £400 iirc.
-
Alex, sadly I'm not the reviewer.
But surely these are going to be my next pads. :happy2:
-
What are they like for dust and damage to wheel lacquer ?
-
I will ask all mates who run these pads.
-
Where can u get these pads from & how much
-
I think it's R53 Engineering - http://www.r53engineering.com/index.php/products/braking
-

If anyone has UK prices for MX72 please let me know. I wonder if they are less pricey in the UK than in Germany.
-
If these pads are hard to get,Any other pads you lot recommend?
-
I wouldn't say "hard to get", just "have to wait a few weeks". Did you give Endless-Brakes.info a call?
What do you need? Fast road + some light track? Some mates use Pagid RS4-2. Many track experienced
Porsche-Owners are happy with them as well.
Awesome! Yeah can't say enough about the improved brake feel and stopping power. Had to drive up to USC and Hulu in Santa Monica yesterday and then back up last night for The Standard and a concert. Virtually eliminates every "oh $#!~" moment"! Just commuting they aren't hot enough to be super grippy, but with added foot pressure they grab very well still.
Over the past tank of gas during the last week I've driven in a number of conditions including city, freeway, and significant stop-an-go to LA on the 405, light rain, and sunshine.
Noise
Under these mixed-conditions the Endless MX-72 have not made a single noise so they are quieter than the HPS I was running that would occasionally squeal lightly coming to a stop in city driving. Score 10/10
Dust
I'll have to give them a 7/10 here. Wiping my finger along the center wheel spokes there is no dust to speak of, but along the outside edge near the lip there is a light coating of a black, silky, sooty nature. Hard for me to directly compare to HPS, but I'll be conservative and say that they dust a little more. I think you'll be wanting to wash your wheels every week or tank of fuel. :frown:
Rotors
The rotors still have the light cross hatching pattern to them, so I believe the pads are very gentle on rotors and/or the cryogenic treating improves their wear greatly.

What are they like for dust and damage to wheel lacquer ?
I was told similar to OEM and less dust than Hawk HPS or Textar Porsche pads.
-
Any update on these pads Bruce? Did you end up fitting them?
Cheers :happy2:
-
Not yet unfortunately. I will when next pads are worn.
You cannot go wrong with these. Dozens of Megane RS drivers run them.
It's just the price . . .
-
These seem a great upgrade. Does anyone know what discs are in the picture??

What's the wallet damage for these pads on standard 312 discs?
Also how do these compare to DS2500's... I heard on another forum that the DS2500's with stock disc/cally are comparable to the s3/r32/cupra standard setup without the huge unsprung weight...
-
I would say there in a different league to the ds2500's going by price and what people have said.
Doubt that very much, if they was then why would so many swap to the R32/Cupra/S3 setup.
Alex is getting me a price on them but they will be going on a Cupra. There not cheap though.
-
Rent4Ring use them on all their track cars. They last foooorrrreeeeeevvvverrrrr....
Brilliant feel and power too, whatever compound it is they use. A nice progressive Pagid type pad, is how I'd describe them. I did 16 laps virtually back to back and never had anything but superb braking.
I thought they were mostly Jap fitment, good to know they're available for more stuff. I'd certainly buy them :happy2:

Assumption is the mother of all cockups.
.
There doesn't seem to be one online shop that sell these to check out today.
I can only imagine how great these would be with nqsbbk

So where are people getting these from?

It is!!
I see they do a lot of Brembo stuff, the brakes on my M135i are Brembo..... Hmmm

Wouldn't matter mate, they don't sell them direct... says: "Preis auf Anfrage!".... Price on request!" - no doubt they don't stock them like everyone else.
-
Its not like you cant get them, your just gonna be waiting a few weeks if you order these, no where will keep them on the shelf, not unless your from japan anyway.
-
Think we'll be looking at £300+ for the fronts, if other applications (https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=mx75+endless+pads&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&client=firefox-a#hl=en&safe=off&client=firefox-a&hs=WrV&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB%3Aofficial&tbs=p_ord:p&tbm=shop&sclient=psy-ab&q=mx72+endless+&oq=mx72+endless+&gs_l=serp.3...87102.87102.2.87282.1.1.0.0.0.0.97.97.1.1.0...0.0...1c.1.7.psy-ab.EjmM4oJ90bc&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_qf.&bvm=bv.44158598,d.ZWU&fp=f72dc57b6045b45c&biw=1920&bih=899) are anything to go by. Twice as much as DS2500.
-
DS2500s are, in my humble opinion, a sack of crap on track. I destroyed a new set in a day, and they left horrible splatters deposits all over my nice discs.
By comparison, I had some RS29s which are similar money to the Endless, and they did 6 track days and 10,000 miles.... And STILL weren't worn out.
You get what you pay for.

Are you running with standard calipers? For £300 they must be some pad!
-
yeah the ds2500 don't have the heat tolerance of the 3000's by the looks of it

Ill have a better idea of cost soon, as alex is looking into it for me for the Cupra setup.
As said though, they maybe twice the price but as an endurance pad could last 4 times longer and be really kind to the disks. Plus should maintain performance on track for long periods instead of been dead after 5 laps and still be suitable for the road.
Happy to pay £300+ for all of that.
-

No, I had an Alcon kit. Ran the same in my 135i too (Brembos).

As a fast road pad on the right brakes, they're fine - cook them though and they're scrap.
