Title: Custom pipework needed for intake
Post by: sub39h on April 27, 2012, 02:51:15 pm
Hi guys,

bought a BSH True Seal at the end of last year, and because it's not been designed for UK cars it's just an awful fit and where the outlet for the US noise pipe is they supply a rubber bung which juts up against the brake fluid reservoir and as the engine moves has worn a hole in the bung!

also because it's not mounted with the engine properly it rattles against the fliter cone housing and this is starting to rub a hole in the metalwork of the pipe! i can't see too long before it wears all the way through!

i really like the look of it though, the housing and things, so was wondering if anyone could recommend somewhere i can get some pipework made up for it +/- ceramic coating if it's not too expensive! it'll need a hole for the MAF and i wanted a mounting pin like the Neuspeed P-Flo has. also i want to delete the outlet for the noise pipe as this is obviously not needed for my car.

any ideas?

I'm not exactly local but I'll be heading your way for a wedding next saturday (i.e. 5th may). If i pop it down can you get the measurements and I'll pay you and can you get it made up and posted out to me?

How much is it gonna cost?
