well thetime has come for new tyres on the golf
was wondering whats the best tyre size to run i currently have 225/35/19s
was wondering can you get away with 235s on the golf the wheels are mtm bimotos

Pretty sure most folk on 19s are using 235/35/19.
-
I'm on 225/35/19

I prefer 235/35 because they give the rim a tad more protection, but it depends on the width and offset of the wheel and whether the car is lowered. For example my 8x19 with ET50 will take 235/35 without any rubbing issues, but my old 8.5x19 with ET45 rubbed occasionally at the front untill I did the screw mod at the top of the arch.

as Trev mentions it all depends how far your car is lowered-am running 225-35-19 with out any rubbing

slam it!

I ran 235/35/19's when I had the ED30 and the BBS CH's at an ET48 offset. Worked great.
