Hello all, i was thinking of changing my fogs to yellow ones. i know its not to everyones preference but i would like to do it. i was just wandering if i can put any bulbs in or does it throw up an error on the ecu.
Many thanks

ill go down the route then thanks

Like MVB mentioned lamin does the trick but if you want the real yellow look then you need bulbs or bulbs and tint - let me know which fog lights you have I have a set of bulbs going cheap (you either have the project ones or the normal everyday bulb ones)
**if you want the bulbs as well that is**

Which work best in fog: Yellow or clear?
Yellow, yellow cuts through the fog better especially thicker fog. if you google it there will be a load of scientific explanations. I believe its one of the reasons for the french using yellow fogs.

Apparently yellow light is better for fog as white light reflects more on the fog (something like that)

Are they legal?

.
I wear yellow prescription specs when driving at night and on dark days or in fog and vision is improved. It also cuts the glare from other lights.

nah i know what you mean, I've got specticals for night driving that have been treated with anti-glear - liiifeeesaver!!! although I still ****ing hate bad HID's

^^^^
My yellow/amber specs are Bolle - More stylish than those! They have their own prescription lens component built in.
For most days I use prescription Oakley's.
-
Hang on - I think the bulbs I were offering were for the normal relector based fog lights and I think I might of got it the wrong way round.
Let me check mine after work to see if mine were infact the project based ones.
:happy2:
haha I think those are some generic driving glasses but I suppose good for anyone who does a lot of motorway at night time and have tinted windows so no one can see them wearing them :signLOL:

Yes, it was a test question. I was curious to find out whether the yellow fogs were wanted for show or for effectiveness.
