You may well be ok. Being Ko4 your dv is located at the front of the engine.

To my understanding the problem with torn diaphrams on the earlier dv's was mainly Ko3 as the dv is located on the turbo and would suffer from the heat and would in turn split.

The ETKA Vw parts system says the above part number is for the normal GTI engine (K03) 06H 145 710 D

The number that's fitted on my ed30 just now is 06F145710C (07 model)
But this number is superceeded to
06F145710G

06H 145 710D is the latest piston type- can be used on either Ko3 or Ko4
and the later are the two diaphram style Dv :happy2:

Thats the one to go for, just spoke to Jabbasport and they are fitting one for me next week before re-map, one less thing to worry about.
