I've seen a candy white Gti today parked next to me in tescos...I looks sooo good
Got me thinking that shell I respray the car!!!
How much is a respray around nowadays??

Engine out, windows out... done properly? 2-3K maybe.

Chap I've met had a full concours re-spray done on his classic car and cost him £8000. They also had the car for well over a month. As above, a decent full strip down re-spray will be about £2000ish give or take.
You could always vinyl wrap your car (not sure of cost) and you can always return it back to standard later. Have a look at It's A Wrap on the interweb, one of their projects was turning a black car, White.

Had my m3 wrapped last year in gloss white,set me bk 1300

Still cheaper than a respects with the benefit that it peels off!!

Wrap will also protect original paint as well.

Found a few local body shops that deals with accident-repair & resprays..will call them tomorrow to get a quote
