Afternoon Guy's

Im new too the site, seen the link on edition38, i have owned lots of vag cars but my latest one is a mk5 gti, this is how i bought it

Then i went out and bought some Fk Highsport Coilovers with new top mounts

Then i sold the Gti Wheels to fund the new wheels, but it looked like this for a while

Then after having the car recalled by vw for coilpacks, i got these

but the rear tyres didn't arrive, so it looked like this for 1 night

they are the 3sdm 0.01 in staggered, waiting for the black centre caps to arrive as they sent silver ones as the black was out of stock

Fronts 18 x 8.5 et 45 (215/35/18)
Rear 18 x 9.5 et 40 (215/40/18)

Hope this helps bud, fronts could do with a 5mm spacer which I got to fit when I take my helpers out to bring the front down more

The rides good, but it's hard, I got it as low as it will go all round and the lock ring out the back

How much you got it lowered at the moment?

Really liking those wheels  :drool: saw a set a while back in a showroom and thought they'd look great on a mk5, deep concave rears look wicked  :drinking:

Looks lovely mate, I think Im getting a set in silver for my ED30.

What are your tyre specs? Im on the same coilovers but running camber on the rear.

Would love a shot of the rear arch and tyre to see clearance.

im at the lowest setting all round and got the lock ring out the back as well, gonna remove the front helpers soon

only on 1 side slightly atm due to the camber not set up properly, but other than that no!!

Cheers for the pictures mate! Look sweet.

I'm right down with helpers still in on front and adjusters out the back just springs and I'm tucking to the rim on 19s on the rear! No rubbing either

Looks like I'm gonna have to put adjusters back in if I go with these.

Get some camber going on at the back and the helpers out and ill be a massive fan!

not a lot, and its not that bad to be honest,  doesn't help that the last pics the cars on a slight slope
