i dont think this will clean the intake valves that much as its just injected through the standard injectors via the normal fuel line and i dont know whether id like it going through the injectors on a Fsi it could possibly cause damage.

be good to find out who makes it and some product info, so if you find some post it up mate  :happy2:

Seems they break into the fuel system on the low pressure side by the fuel tank.

Still don't see how that will clean your inlet valves.  :popcornsoda:

thanks for that. source?

well wouldn't it follow the same path as the blow by gasses (i.e. the stuff that causes the carbon build up)? i'm not that technically minded

If it's injected with the fuel and the car is direct injection such as the TFSI then no. I have more chance becoming the next Pope.  :happy2:

Would there be any benefit to having this done then on a TFSI engine?

Combustion chamber, exhaust ports/valves and cat will get clean. But thats about it.

You need those other kits that go via the intake system to clean all the typical FSI oil residue deposits.

Looks like this product is starting to take off in the UK. Might get it done next month when my bank balance isn't looking so horrendous:

Seems like Edd is quite heavily involved in it... maybe his company?

that's ok, just have your engine stripped and rebuilt when you have your LOBA fitted...
