Right, before anyone bollocks me, I have searched but all the threads seemed to date back to 2009, and maybe the game has moved on a bit by now?
So, what's the general consensus on the best drying towel currently available? I had one of the big blue ones but I think radiator drying it has ruined it and it is leaving fibres all over the car.

I've got one from cleanyourcar.co.uk, think it's their own brand one for going round the car getting the worst off first. Then a couple of Megs water magnets for a final dry, seems to work pretty well, very minimal marks, swirls marring etc since I've had the car so I'm happy.
Never dry any of them on a rad though, and wash them twice a month too.
Works for me.
Andy.

One of These (http://www.i4detailing.co.uk/acatalog/I4D_Uber_Blue_Drying_Towel_1.html) is plenty enough to dry a golf/a3/leon. :)

Ive been using one of these from Keith @ Washshop for a couple of months and very happy with it:

It's all about personal preferences. I hate plush drying towels because they just leave lint everywhere, even after multiple washes. Drives me nuts!
I now prefer a dri-u-kwik towel but car has to be clean or you'll drag dirt across the surface.

My towel of choice is an Autoperfection one from a few years back. Deep pile, no lint. It's perfect. Sadly never found one as good. I also have a huge blue drying towel which I use when the other is dirty.

I'm with Deako!
These bath towels are Amazing.
Massive, mega thick, mega plush, lint free and very very absorbant.
Another group buy would be Great! :pomppomp:

I just use an old bath towel. I think it was from John Lewis.
If I were buying one specially I'd just go to Tesco or suchlike.
No doubt such a hideous departure from detailing etiquette will inflict a plauge of a thousand swirls on your car though...

Most of the ultra plush towels out there will do the same/similar job Andrew.
I have a couple of these (well actually i have 5 and mine are yellow ) but i only ever use one to dry the car with and i have an Octy Estate.

They make great buffing towels too.
I always sheet water off the car first though to aid the drying proces. But even when i haven't you can dry the whole car with one. I haven't found these to lint either and the 2 i use frequently have been washed several times. Just don't use conditioner with them. :happy2:

Another vote from the one from polished bliss. I may be biased though as they are my local detailer!

I've used the drying towels from cleanyourcar - good value for money and hold up quite well

My drying towel was a little small and getting damp quickly, so I bought one of these Andrew, because I'm lazy
