Guys, currently running stage 2+ with all the hardware on my ed30, and just bought some r32 brakes on here. Now i am considering what's next, I've added WALK and now thinking about a rear ARB or a remap for the dsg, maybe stage 2?
I know i should probably stop spending but its a slippery ol slope we're on :driver:
-
Iv got the same spec as you, I'm going for the THS inter cooler next :happy2:
-
Diff.......
-
Literally just had an S3 cooler delivered today which should do the job as i don't track my car and live in the cold northeast ha ha
i would love a diff but think that would be around £1100 fitted
-
Rear ARB compliments the WALK really well and not to expensive a mod :happy2:

Cheers Dave, that's probably where i will go next. Looking forward to getting the brackston pal

This is music to my ears as I already have a WALK fitted and have been thinking about rear ARB's

You have a diff Nath? Perhaps driving like a girl but struggling to feel the massive difference I was expecting from my Peloquin

You coming up north any time soon mate your diff is poo :signLOL:
-
Spend some money on the chassis/suspension. It must be horrendous to drive a stage 2+ car on stock suspension... :stupid:
-
Haha it does make it interesting at times.... hence why I'm after some improvements on the handling front

Not on the Pirelli no chap.

suspension and arb next I would say! ARB cheaper but in fairness ARB and suspension compliment each other!

What suspension you lot recommend?

What's your budget first ?

say around 5-700 quid, maybe a bit more... Only for road use as I don't do trackdays

many suspension manufacturers, top of the range being the like bilstein, eibach, ohlins, sachs etc. It all depends how you use your car. If you plan to change a set up for example for a track day you can go for fully adjustable suspension. Some peeps have b16 bilstein which is top of the range You can also adjust height of your car.
If you are just looking for fit and forget suspension great for fast driving and occasional track day bilstein has b12 set I use and I can highly recommend. You can go for various car lowering options from 2.5 cm to 4 cm but you can't adjust.
I think there is a group buy as well at the moment

Cheers mate,will check it out

Would say rear adjustable ARB (Eibach/H&R) and lower engine mount (VRW/THS). Should be £500ish, really compliment your set up so far.
:happy2:

Coilovers :happy2:
-
.
Definitely suspension and lower engine mount and diff and... and... and...
-
HnR coilovers. Rear ARB, larger rear brakes and decent discs and pads.
A diff is a excellent upgrade, quaiffe or wavetrac.
Also good tyres!
