After washing, polishing, waxing, etc, last week i keep finding left over bits of polish in all the cracks, etc, like in around door handles, between bits of trim. How doeas anyone deal with this? Do you tape all the edges up? Scrap the bits out? Starting to annoy me know as i keep finding new bits and it just spoils the overal look of the car looking all good and shiney with bits of polishhere and there. Cheers

I use cotton buds :happy2: (the ones for your ears - but the baby ones)

Flirted briefly with the ideal of a small screwdriver wrapped in cloth or something to get to the bits (I know, dont say anything! Ill hang my head in shame.. :sad1:). Just a right pain the the arse.

The blue 3m low tac tape indeed. The cost of a roll vs the cleanup time to remove polish residue

Dont use so much polish and go easier. Shouldnt need to polish more than 1 time per year imo. Try topping up with a wax/sealant instead.

I only polish 2-3 timesa year, more for next time i do it. Its just little things like this that spoil the rest of the good work. Do plan on keeping it topped up with some wax.

I use a megs triple duty brush for stuff like this. Are you sure it's polish residue and not wax residue?
I tape up for polishing but only so dirt isn't dragged out from crevices.
