The label 'Legend' is overused nowadays, but is entirely appropriate for Carroll Shelby.

A great life lived for the pleasure of many. RIP.

A legend and an absolute gentleman , the car world is much poorer without him , luckily his legacy will live on forever in the Cobra and Mustang. RIP Carroll.

RIP Sir. Great man, saw him on a programme couple of years ago talking about his cars (ones mentioned above) and also his F1 career. Seemed a genuinely nice, humble gentleman.

Just saw the 64 race car go through RM at Monteray for $1.45m
