Title: fog grill removal
Post by: da_ansa on May 12, 2012, 10:28:53 am
happy Saturday people

I had a search on here but couldn't find anything. I was wandering how you go about removing the lower grills where the fogs are located. I want to put some lamin x on my fog lamps and haven't had the car long when I do DIY it tends to go wrong  :P

Nope, there is a honeycomb section that's deeper than the others. That's where the screw is

Once you remove the screw, stick your finger in the hole and pull the grille out

Look into the grill/slats and you should see it. Hopefully yours won't be as bad as my GT grills. Broke a clip on both of mine they were that tight.

Assuming you've got a GTI with the honeycomb grills...
