Post by: Sammy on May 13, 2012, 03:22:10 pm
My discs have to a end now and need changing, What do people think of the following, the options are drilled, or drilled and grooved or just grooved.
Which is the best to go for? Also comes with brembo pads which are crap says the price of the listing? Are the S3 discs meant to be 30mm wide??

Depends if you want discs that last. The only drilled discs worth having as those that have them cast in and not drilled after the fact. Cracks galour. :(

Go either plan or grooved if you have to have a pretty pattern.

I have neuspeed disc with yellow stuff pads on my R, see my sig.

These are drilled in way to help negate cracking, I have had them for about 5,000 miles no issues !

Speak to DaveB and get discs from him. Job done.

You do get some droning with drilled and grooved discs and as others have said some drilled discs are prone to cracking.

At then end of the day if its cheap then you will be buying more in the near future :happy2:
