Hi
I want to connect my iPod/iphone to my mfd2 cd version
is there a way I can do this and will it charge my iPod/iPhone?
Thanks
Billy

i bought a cable off ebay that plugged into the AUX socket. It also had power but i needed to run a separate wire from the fuse box for this as the AUX on the back of the headunit did not supply power..

no. This is just AUX in.
You will need a full MDI kit for headunit control. And not sure they even work with MFD2. think you would need the newer range like rds310, rds510 or rns510
