Ok so I have legs like a chicken and the bit on the centre console rubs on my left leg just below the knee, is it possible to cover these in leather or do something to stop there being a horrid bit of hard plastic where I rest my leg.
Anyone else have this problem?

 sorry mate but this made me laugh,& sorry no i don't have this problem with my legs. :congrats:.
-
Hey, don't be sorry, I worded it like that for a reason :chicken:
-
Sorry cant say I have the same problem
-
Coming from an 09 plate civic, I must say I noticed that this piece of the dash did feel quite uncomfortable against the leg compared to the civic, which even had a leg-pad of sorts!
My leg's got used to it now, after 8 months :happy2:
-
wear some knee pads
-
I'm 18 months in and not getting used to it, just getting fed up with it. Might make a stick on pad
-
Strip it out and cover it.
yes i have a similar problem, but i guess that is because i have very similar legs.

Sounds like you need a footrest.
-
I have a foot rest but with my bow legs it doesn't help. Ideally I would like to get them covered in dark grey leather. The sides, not my legs :ashamed:
Just can't find any pictures.
-
So not only have you got "chicken legs" but now your telling us you have "bow" chicken legs!
You poor bugger
On a serious note, i noticed this hard plastic bit whern i first got the car, But after 2 years it doesn't bother me anymore, got used to it.
-
Could you use a bit of adhesive tape and put a pad there of some description as a temporary fix until a more permanent fix is found? I don't have the problem but can see what you mean lol
-
To be honest i'm making my legs sound a lot worse than they are!!
I have found this company that makes velcro leather covers, I have spoken to them and they will make me ones without the stitch down the middle and padded.
What do you guys think?

They look cool
-

-
Red is ok
-
Really like those fella. Might get some for my ED30, can't get enough red stitching inside the motor!
:happy2:

Try KFC :happy2:

Why not get a spare centre console, send it to an upholster and have it wrapped in a grey suede leather, colour matched. would look fandango then, they could probably add a thin layer of foam padding too.

You could call some one like these guys to get an idea on price

Nice one! :happy2:

Delivered today, not to bad as they are only £20. Real leather with red stitching that matches the stitching in my ED30 perfectly.
Sorry about iPhone quality!

i like them :happy2: I've always felt the plastic in those holes looked a bit naff/cheap but the leather really smartens it all up and matches perfectly! :happy2:
