This may be the wrong place for this post so apologies if it is (its sort of half REVO, half fuel orientated).
Never really though about this until recently but is the GTi designed to run on 95, 98 octane fuel and will putting the REVO stage 1 effect this? I've only had the car a week and it got a full tank of normal unleaded (95 I think) when I collected it. It appears to be running correctly but the only problem is I've not used it with 98 ron so I've not really got a bench mark to say its right or not?
I keep seeing people talking about boost, timing & fuel settings for the REVO too and I'm not sure how it works? I'm booked in for the stage 1 doing so will they just set it as per a standard as they have no rolling road to tune anything or should I be specifying what I want?
Help!

Most if not all 'tuners' will recommend you run at least 98 and 99 where you can. Shell V-Power or Tesco 99 are a must! :happy2:

Hi, the GTI is designed to run on a recommended octane of 98 or higher with 95 as the minimum (with reduced performance) - according to the handbook.

Seems to get better mileage aswel from 98 V-Power.

P.S. V-Power is 99 octane

If you insist in using 95 RON fuel then let your tuner know and he'll reduce your stage 1 timing to suit.
