You have to remove your rear seat to access it and afaik only one outfit in the US have an uprated version.
-
do you know the part number? and how much they are?
-
Best person to ask is heavyd as he replaced his lpfp a few months ago.
-
This posting suggest the latest version lpfp is 1K0 919 051 DB.

I bought a 1k0919051db last november
sorry cant remember how much it was, but its only a half hour job to change, hardest part is getting the rear seats out!
is there any particluar reason why you are after a new one?

Uprated one is USP Motorsports. Their piggyback system is about £400. Absolute arse to install. Stevie.

was recommed at the power im running, so thought it would be best to change it.

Did you actually log the lpfp output pressure over the rev range before coming to that conclusion?
-
hmm no :chicken: what blocks do i need to log. does it not have to stay at 5?

log block 103.
5 bar seems to be constantly mentioned over the internet but I think if you can maintain 4.5 bar minimum over the entire rev range then you should be supplying enough petrol to the fuel rail.
-
ok i will give it a blast in a min.
-
There is one other lpfp option. I can do an intank Bosch 044 upgrade. It will hold 6 bar at 7.5k with a 3076 so its more than good for the job.
-
Don't forget that your standard fuel filter is only rated to 6.4bar :happy2:
